What does DDS and DMS mean and/or stand for after a denitist's name?

I think you mean DMD. DDS stands for doctor of dental surgery. DMD is a doctor of dental medicine. Both are pretty much the same. They both mean completion of dental school. The difference depends on the dental school you attended.

i think the other one you referred to should actually be


DMD- doctor of medical dentistry


the difference is based on what school you go to
