Question for Christian doctors (MD's) & dentists (DMD, DDS) ...?

Do any Christian doctors or dentists have a network where Christians can locate them and if they do are they willing to charge less money to others, especially Christians (Gal. 6:10) who are uninsured or indigent? Of course the medical "oath" requires this, but that seems more like a pipedream in today's society. Thank you for your answers in advance!

Jonathon, ignore the nay-sayers. It is not illegal for any doctor to give a discount to whomever he wants to. If you are asking for yourself, I'm sorry you don't have insurance. That really stinks. We have insurance but it's really bad insurance so I know how you feel. Have you tried calling your local Social Services? They may be able to direct you to some charitable or public assistance to help you. Good luck and God bless you.
Reply:Thanks and God bless you, too. Report It

Reply:That seems like it would be against the law somehow.

But hey, if you find it, let me know. It's easy enough to claim to be a Christian.
Reply:Fat chance.
Reply:wow, i think its great that you try and get discounts because of your religion, really shows your character, no really.
Reply:What you suggest is not only borderline illegal, it is also highly immoral.

EDIT: Well you initial statement indicated you were looking for such a doctor or dentist in order to obtain a discount for being of the same religion. I would think that would be highly immoral; I am unsure as to the legality of it but I would imagine it would be dubious.

I have no problem with charity but only where charity is warranted and not only provided to a select few.

As for Christians not being "under the law but grace" you are still bound to obey the law of the land.
Reply:Well, I actually know quite a few Christian medical associations you can get in touch with, and was fixing to tell you how until you made that "Christians aren't under the law" remark...
