Both DDS and DMD means a doctorate degree in dentistry. It depends on the graduating university, but DMD is mostly associated with East Coast schools and DDS with West Coast. No real difference.
"PLLC" and "PS" stand for the legal entity of the practice, just like "Inc" would be for a corporation
PLLC is a limited liability partnership while PS is a professional corporation.
What does "DMD PLLC" next to your dentist's name stand for? What does "DDS PA" next to the name mean?
DDS is Doctor of Dental Science.
PA is both Physicians Assistant and Public Accoutent.
