We all know what an MD is, but I find that people are largely uneducated to our healthcare system, so ten points to whoever can correctly define what these people are and what they do:

Define these titles?
DPM--doctor of podiatry medicine; DO--doctor of osteopathy; OD-- Doctor of Optometry; DC--doctor of chiropractic; DPT--Doctor of Physical Therapy


PT--Physical therapist; OT--Occupational therapist; CNA--certified nurse anesthetist (or certified nursing assistant); CRNA-- certified, registered nurse anesthetist; PA--physicians assistant; NP--nurse practitioner; LMFT--Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MFCC)


DDS--Doctor of dental surgery...whew!

Reply:People are uneducated about our healthcare system because they are unaware of acronyms?? Absurd!!! Someone also needs to pick up a grammar book and another needs to deal directly with their misunderstood emotional issues and stop projecting them onto others. Report It
