I have a laptop from HP that came with Windows XP Media Center installed and was then upgraded to Windows Vista Home Premium with an OEM upgrade DVD that was shipped to me later on. I did a clean install.
When the laptop died and I needed a backup machine I bought a small Acer PC which already had Vista installed with a shitload of tools no-one needs, which is why I didn't even bother making bakup DDs with the tool on the machine.
Both machines now run the same version. of Windows Vista.
My question is: Would it be possible to do a complete reinstall with the Windows Vista Upgrade DVD on the Acer machine, given the fact that it has its own license key on it?
I'd rather know whether this works before I start.
Windows Vista Upgrade OEM -%26gt; 2 machines, 2 keys = Doable?
Why not just remove all those tools you say you don't need.
PC Decrapifier is an uninstall utility that is specifically designed to remove common trial and promotional software, that is often installed on a new PC. This includes items such as trial versions of Norton, Corel, MS Office, Quicken etc., as well as promotional desktop icons, AOL installations, OEM home and search pages, browser toolbars, unnecessary startup items and more. The program does not need to be installed, and can run from a USB drive. You can choose the items to be removed from a list, and also create a restore point to undo any changes. Get it here: http://www.snapfiles.com/reviews/PC_Decr...
Then...
Eusing Free Registry Cleaner enables you to scan your registry for invalid entries. It provides a list of all errors that were found, and you can choose to remove all items, or only selected errors. Before the program deletes any keys, it automatically creates a backup of the registry and allows you to easily undo any changes if needed. You can choose to scan the entire registry or only selected sections. Get it here: http://www.snapfiles.com/Freeware/system...
These two will take care of what you need.
Reply:you need a vista oem (non upgrade) dvd to do a complete reinstall... if you dont have one that means you have to install xp then use the upgrade to install vista.
Reply:if there boththe same ista versionyes write down the product key and use that one ofthe acer. otherwise go to bt junkie and there is a crack that sets yer bios clock 2099 and u always have 30 days to activate. enjoy

What Are The Symptoms...?
What are the symptoms of a cavity?
What are the symptoms of a root canal?
Does a lingering slight aching-throbbing pain always indicate root canal is needed?
If xrays were taken in October that show no decay near the pulp,... could it have progressed to the pulp by now?
Does tapping always indicate root canal is needed?
Are there any tests I can do that will determine that root canal is likely needed... i.e.: Ice test, tap test, heat test?
My symptoms are: As of yesterday an old filled tooth started hurting after eating cold cereal. A alight aching-throb is best to describe it. It still hurts a little. It is not sensitive to heat. Tap is a little sensitive. Any advice is very appreciated. Going to DDS next week. Thanks.
What Are The Symptoms...?
More than likely your filling is eroding, my dentist said that they do that. If it is a big filling you sill probably need to have it removed and the tooth crowned. You normally only need a root canal in the case of an infection which usually is noticeable because you would be in a lot of pain with facial swelling.
Reply:cavity- i think there will be a dark colored spot in the middle and i think it will hurt very bad
Reply:omg! for an exmaple sad and other word for it is heart broken! it has the same meaning but a different word
Reply:I'm not a dentist, this is from my personal experience.
Fillings need to be replaced periodically because they wear out and begin to leak. When the dentist cleans out the old filling, the hole will get larger. When the hole gets large enough that the filling puts pressure on the nerve, it's time for a root canal. I'm sure there are other reasons, too. But this is what happened to me.
Reply:decay does not always come with symptoms. it will only become relevant to the patient, usually by the time it reaches the pulp and it would mean sensitivity, general aching of the tooth perhaps with normal masticitory pressure. the symptoms of a root canal would usually be an abscessed tooth. you will see a small fistula at the apex (root) of the tooth, patients usually don't notice for a while, but what is happening is the tooth is infected and the pus needed to drain somewhere because it can't go through tooth structure, only soft tissues or bone. depending on the severity there may be pain, but again usually the patient will have had it for some time and not known. it could have progressed to the pulp by now for sure, to detect decay a periapical x-ray of the tooth should be taken. your dds will help from there.
Reply:Even though you alraedy have a filling in that tooth , it probably needs to be resealed. Depending on how long ago it was they most likely have better products to do this. Also, you might want to try using a toothpaste for sensitive teeth. This really helped me. If your using whitening toothpaste regularly or have done some whitening , than this could be the cause of your pain. For more info check out this site:

Reply:Dental caries or cavities can lead to a dental infection that may require root canal to rectify. Continued dental pain could indicate a dental abscess (infection around the root of the tooth). You want to treat these early with antibiotics so surgery is not needed later. Pain on tapping simply means there is inflammation going on around the tooth and infection is the leading cause. Hot and cold sensitivity are also clues to infection. If you are not allergic to penicillin it is the drug of choice for you my friend.

Drivers Ed question: Book says its allowed but Drivers Dont Agree...HELP?!?
"Unless a sign posted at that intersection prohibits doing so, it is permissible to
make a “left turn on red” from the left lane of a one-way street onto a one-way
street on which the traffic moves toward the driver’s left."
This quote has been copied and pasted from DDS and ahs not been manipulated in any way.
Drivers Ed question: Book says its allowed but Drivers Dont Agree...HELP?!?
I'm not sure exactly what your question is, but those that don't agree aren't aware of the law. Obviously it's legal in your state, and it is in mine also. It's also permissible (in Michigan) to complete a u-turn on red on a divided highway, since the traffic is moving in one direction.
Drivers aren't required to make the turn if they don't want to, however. Nor do they have to make a right on red. Many people are more comfortable waiting for the green light, and there's no law against it. However, it's liable to draw some horn honking.
Reply:I've never come across that situation but it seems like it should be OK. because you're not cutting across traffic and going into the nearest lane it seems pretty safe, just like a right hand turn on red. I'd trust the handbook and not the word of other drivers.
Reply:It's the same thing as if you pulled up to a red light and wanted to turn right. You can turn right if traffic is clear unless there is a "NO Right on Red" sign.
Reply:as far as i know that is legal in that situation. but not in all states
Reply:If it is a one way going onto another one way, going left, yes. It is permissible as long as there is no sign saying no.
Reply:Yes it is permissible without any signs.

Mine started developing like 2 years ago, but they havent grown much!
Ive had discharge for AGES (over a year) and its geting annoying now. When do you think i will get my period? Soon? Will my breasts grow? Thanks!
Im 14 and.?
Hey,
I was 14 when I started my period, and to be honest I sounded exactly like you - AA-A cup, discharge etc, etc, all the 'signs'.
Then one day it just took me by surprise.
I was, and you are, at a stage when hormones are flying all over the place. You can't predict these things, don't worry, you are totally normal. Your period will be along soon enough, and when it does you'll see that it's nothing to be worried about! Your breasts will grow too, mine did like overnight (sorry if TMI!) just relax and enjoy not having to worry about when your next period is due, and have you got enough sanitary protection, and blah blah blah! Seriously, you're lucky that you haven't started yet!
Reply:U WILL SOON G3T TH3R3.. DON'T WORRY IT WILL G3T TH3R3 SOON3R THAN U THINK;)
Reply:I am 13. I have not gotten my period. I am a 38a in kids, 32a in adults, no one can really tell though.
Reply:You're lucky you don't have it yet.:) It's annoying, worse than discharges. Your breast won't stop growing till you're 18? I think. Don't worry, it'll grow. And be patient, it will come soon.:)
Reply:Well my mom was an early developer and i was a slow developer it's okay your boobs will grow eventually
Reply:you are just 14 , don't worry is normally between 14-16 so is not too late ok.
It shall be aright
.
Reply:your period always comes when you don't expect it.
right when you get your period is mostly when things develop the quickest.
within two years of breast development is when you period will start.
good luck!!!
Reply:Oh my god, enjoy every last day of not having it!!!
You will understand after your first 3-5 periods when they start getting heavy!
It'll come soon %26lt;3
Reply:they will grow, and when you get your period, you'll wish you hadnt

Has Jerry Lawler acknowledged his past with KANE ?
We all know that KANE was formerly known as Isaac Yankem, in the 90s WWF.
But has Jerry Lawler ever acknowledged the fact that he was managing KANE known as DDS ?
Actually, i know he hasn't since its part of 2 different characters and that would be breaking kayfabe.
But has the KING ever mentioned it indirectly, or sort of like an inside joke, kind of like when TripleH indirectly mentions that he is married to stephanie, and is made into an inside joke !!!
Has the WWE ever mentioned this indirectly, or kind of like an inside joke ?
10 POINTS to whomever recalls a moment when it happened, or when they atleast came close to aknowledging Kane's past !!

Is there a max amount of Federal need based student loans one qualify for when going to grad school?
Hi,
I am planning on going to graduate school right after finishing my undergraduate. I am currently borrowing a little bit of money using Federal Stafford loans (need based) and the rest is covered under various grants etc. My plan is to get either an MD or DDS degree, but both degrees are very expensive. Is there a maximum amount one can qualify for under the Federal need based loans or will it all be covered? I will have no contribution form my parents, so everything will be on me and student loans.
Thanks in advance.

Reply:Yes there are limits. For federal Stafford the the max is $20,500 — and no more than $8,500 of this amount may be in subsidized loans. Some do not qualify to borrow the max. It depends on your EFC, your Cost of Attendance and your enrollment status (full vs part time).
The computer won't let me link the source but you can search for "Maximum Annual Loan Limits Chart (Aggregate Loan Limits)—Subsidized and Unsubsidized
